On the morning of August 7, information from the Traffic Police Department - Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that on July 30, social networks spread a clip of a car with license plate 99A-769.01 (MITSUBISHI, white) suddenly turning around right at the beginning of Xuong Giang Bridge, section Km118+150m, Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway (in Tien Phong Ward, Bac Ninh Province).
This dangerous behavior has caused a high risk of traffic accidents.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Traffic Police Department - Bac Ninh Provincial Police quickly took action to verify. Through investigation, the driver was identified as Mr. Vu Dang T. (born in 1999, residing in Mao Dien ward, Bac Ninh). On August 6, 2025, the Traffic Police Department invited the driver to work.
Mr. T. stated that because he did not observe the signs carefully, he turned around the car in violation of regulations to get to the delivery location. The Traffic Police Department has drawn up a record of administrative fines according to Point i, Clause 4, Article 6 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP with a fine of 2 to 3 million VND, and deducted driving license points according to regulations.
The Traffic Police Department - Bac Ninh Provincial Police recommends that the act of turning around at the bridgehead, where turning around is prohibited, poses a potential risk of causing accidents and serious congestion.
Traffic participants only turn around at permitted places and must observe carefully to ensure safety for themselves and others.
