On December 29, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union said that the working delegation of the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union visited, encouraged and presented 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ngai province to support local people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.
The working delegation was headed by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction Dao Van Tien, accompanied by leaders of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and the Vietnam Road Administration.
Sharing at the working session, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction Dao Van Tien said that in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Construction has reached out to officials, union members and workers in the sector to join hands to support, share, and help materially and spiritually with people facing difficulties due to rain and floods to soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters, reduce difficulties, and stabilize life.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and all officials and employees of the Construction industry, Mr. Dao Van Tien would like to share the losses and damages caused by natural disasters with the people of Quang Ngai province. At the same time, he believes that with the attention and care of the political system at all levels and the joint efforts of the whole society, people in disaster-affected areas will overcome all difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Although the gift is not materially large, it contains the heart and sharing of the entire Construction industry with the people," Mr. Tien said and said that through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, the Construction industry hopes to contribute a small part to supporting the people to overcome damage and soon stabilize their lives.
Welcoming the support, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province Ho Ngoc Thinh acknowledged and thanked the concern and sharing of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and all CBCNVC of the Construction industry.
Mr. Thinh said that the timely care and support of the Construction sector will add motivation, helping people rebuild their lives and livelihoods after natural disasters. The gift is even more meaningful for people as the traditional Tet of the nation is approaching.
According to the plan, from December 29-31, the working delegation of the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union will visit and provide support to 4 localities, including: Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, each locality 1 billion VND.
The funding was awarded through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the provinces, aiming to support localities in caring for and helping social protection beneficiaries, those in difficult circumstances, and families in difficult circumstances who were severely damaged by recent rains and floods.
