The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project passing through Da Nang City is 11.5 km long, with a total investment of VND 2,112 billion (land acquisition cost is VND 951.19 billion). The project started in September 2023, the main expressway is expected to be completed in August 2025 and the entire project will be completed in November 2025.
The project on the route includes 2 intersections, 11 bridges, 8 underpasses, 62 culverts of all kinds; parallel service roads on both sides of the expressway with a total length of 20.12 km. The project has a total excavation volume of 1.186 million m3, and a filling volume of more than 900 thousand m3. The project's output to date has reached more than 502 billion VND (58.44%).
The project investor is the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, the supervision consultant is the Road Technical Center 3 (LDP III Area), the joint construction contractor is Truong Son Construction Corporation, Traffic Construction Joint Stock Corporation 5 and Company Limited 17.
Currently, the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project is in the acceleration phase, with the goal of opening the main expressway route on August 19, 2025. At this time, the contractor has arranged dozens of construction teams, at the construction site of this expressway project, there are hundreds of officers, engineers, workers, and drivers working with the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain" to bring the project to the finish line on schedule.
Expressing his joy at being visited and encouraged by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union Pham Hoai Phuong directly at the construction site, Mr. Truong Xuan Thanh - Deputy Director of Truong Son Central region Board (Truong Son Construction Corporation - Corps 12) - construction site commander, said that currently, the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project has completed more than 90% of the construction volume.
To complete nearly 10% of the remaining volume, contractors are mobilizing maximum means, equipment, materials, and human resources to focus on construction, striving to complete the expressway's main route by August 10, 2025 9 days before the expressway's opening date.
Sharing the difficulties and hardships of the team of cadres, engineers, workers, and machinery drivers working day and night at the Hoa Lien - Taiwan expressway project site, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union hopes that investors and construction contractors will continue to care for, support, encourage, and take care of the health of union members and workers.
"The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project is one of the projects selected to organize the inauguration and opening of the expressway's main route on the occasion of August 19, 2025. This requires the efforts, work, and dedication of union members and workers.
