On June 21, a representative of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (VTC) said that, implementing the foreign policy plan for 2025, in the first 6 months of 2025, the VTC has organized a number of important foreign affairs activities.
In particular, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union welcomed a delegation of the Cuban Construction Trade Union to visit and work from October 10-15; organized a delegation of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union to visit and work with the construction, wood and mining trade union of the Republic of Pepgio from June 9-13, 2025.
During his working trip to the Republic of Cyprus, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union Pham Hoai Phuong had a working session with the Construction, Wood and Mining Trade Union of the Republic of Cyprus PEO.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union informed about the organizational structure, labor situation and outstanding activities of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union in representing and protecting legitimate and legal rights and interests as well as caring for and improving the welfare of union members and workers.
In order to continue promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two organizations, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union Pham Hoai Phuong suggested that the two sides continue to maintain information sharing activities and experiences in trade union activities, especially in the fields of dialogue and collective bargaining; strengthen cooperation in regional and international forums for the benefit of union members and workers.
Sharing views on issues of mutual concern, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen friendly and cooperative relations, maintain a regular information consultation mechanism between the two sides and support each other in international multilateral forums.
During the working program, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union delegation visited a number of construction sites, met and discussed with workers there.
The Trade Union of Construction, Wood and Mining of the Republic of cybers has made many efforts to fight to protect the rights of workers and achieved some results in salary increases and signing new labor agreements that are beneficial to workers in the context of many economic and political fluctuations in Europe - Chairman Pham Hoai Phuong commented.
According to Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong, the successful visit and work at the construction, wood and mining trade union of the Republic of Serbia and PEO by the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has strengthened the friendly cooperation between the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and the Construction, Wood and Mining Trade Union of the Republic of Serbia and PEO.
The practical experiences and information from the trip are an important basis, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union in the coming time, while promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two trade unions of the Vietnam - Singapore Construction Sector, creating trust, solidarity, and improving the effectiveness of cooperation between the two sides, thereby contributing to further strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Singapore - Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong said.
In the last 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union will continue to develop a plan to organize delegations to visit and work with the Lao Ministry of Public Security and Transport Trade Union Federation; organize to welcome delegations of the Belarus Construction and Construction Materials Industry Trade Union and the Japan Transport Trade Union to visit and work in Vietnam.
The foreign activities of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union in the first 6 months of 2025 will leave a strong impression, contributing to promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and trade unions in the world; creating opportunities for the Vietnam Construction Trade Union to share and learn from union activities, exchange cooperation opportunities, and coordinate with trade union organizations in the same industry; contributing to affirming the position and role of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union in particular and the Vietnam Trade Union in general to international friends.
