On May 18, the Trade Union of Lac Ty II Company Limited organized a Cultural and Sports Festival with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneering to enter a new era", in a series of activities for Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025. At the same time, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1809 - May 19, 2025) will be celebrated.
The festival aims to promote the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers at Lac Ty II Company Limited.
According to the Organizing Committee, in the series of activities of Workers' Month, the Company's Trade Union will prioritize attention and care for the practical interests of union members, in order to attract a large number of workers to the Vietnam Trade Union.
To effectively promote the interests of union members, the unit organizes practical activities in response to Workers' Month such as the Cultural and Sports Festival; "Union Member Welfare" and "Thank You to Workers" Programs; proposes to the superior Trade Union and business leaders to give Union Shelters, Shelters of Love to members and workers; organizes union member admissions;....
At the Festival, 8 Union Shelters were presented to union members with difficult housing circumstances. Of which, the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor donated 3 houses and the Company's Trade Union donated 5 houses.
The Union members and workers also participated in many attractive activities such as folk games, cross-coast running, food street, etc. In particular, at the lucky draw program, a worker won a special prize of 2 taels of gold.
Speaking at the festival, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Le Cong Khanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the deep concern and responsibility of Lac Ty II Company Limited in improving the working environment; improving the material and spiritual life of employees; creating favorable conditions for employees to promote their abilities and long-term contributions to the enterprise.
Workers' Month is not only a festival but also an opportunity to honor, a time to establish responsibility and action for workers.
