The core of the emulation movement
Graduated from Hai Phong Vocational College in 2005, Mr. Chu Anh Tu worked at Toyota Boshoku Hai Phong Company Limited.
After 20 years of working with the company and holding many positions, Mr. Tu is currently the Head of the Drying and Drying Department. In his working position, Mr. Tu contributed many ideas and initiatives to improve the working environment, improve machine performance, and reduce errors in stage quality.
In particular, many outstanding initiatives, which have benefited billions of dong, have been highly appreciated by leaders such as the initiative " Design a process to take advantage of excess materials, reduce waste of excess materials at the fiber-making stage" which benefits 2.59 billion VND/year, reduce the amount of industrial waste released into the environment; the initiative "Improving the reduction of waste of silicone materials at the coating stage" helps save the amount of raw materials, benefiting 18 billion VND/year. Or recently he has had the initiative "Change methods, reduce waste of Silicone raw materials at the coating and material materials at the weaving stage", benefiting businesses nearly 3 billion VND.
Mr. Tu shared: To maintain production at the silicone coating stage, it is necessary to suture the fabric of many fabric coils together with specialized straws with hard properties. Because the design of Transfer roll (a device coated with silicone on the fabric surface) has the property of soft rubber, the step of 2 rolls of fabric made with specialized handles has hard properties when running through Transfer roll, which can cause scratches on the surface of Transfer roll".
Anh Tu is researching to replace specialized splints with hard properties to use color spots, with soft properties, without causing damage to the Transfer roll surface. Mr. Tu's improvement has been successfully tested and applied to production since 2021, helping to reduce the amount of silicone, which means reducing the amount of hazardous waste emitted into the environment.
This initiative also helped Mr. Tu receive the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the third time and was honored to receive the Nguyen Duc Canh Award for the fourth time in 2023.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell is exemplary
With a simple, approachable style and a sense of responsibility and creativity in work, in 2021, Mr. Chu Anh Tu was honored to be in the ranks of the Party. For Mr. Tu, becoming a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a major turning point in his life, an honor and a responsibility for him to constantly improve himself. At work, Mr. Tu is proactive, actively learning and researching documents to improve his IT qualifications, professional expertise and working ability. Mr. Tu enthusiastically guides and supports new workers to approach work, promote initiatives and creativity.
As Head of the Cleaning and Mobility Department and Deputy Secretary of the company's Party Cell, Mr. Tu always observes and discovers workers with good moral qualities, professional capacity... to introduce to the Party for training and admission. As a result, in the 3 years 2022-2024, Mr. Tu introduced 15 outstanding workers and laborers. 10 of these people were admitted to the Party.
Mr. Tu also participated in supporting new party members to promote their role in the Party, creating a democratic and fair working environment to encourage young party members to be creative and raise their sense of responsibility in their work.
For 2 consecutive years 2023, 2024, Mr. Chu Anh Tu has been a party member who has completed his tasks excellently. Mr. Tu is one of 95 outstanding workers who are Party members honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at the 1st Conference to honor 95 outstanding workers who are Party members of the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2025.
For me, this is a noble award, urging me and the Party members to constantly innovate and adapt to the digital age, and devote myself to the cause of national construction, Mr. Tu shared.
