Labor market in Phu Tho is vibrant
In Binh Xuyen Industrial Park and some neighboring industrial clusters, many businesses have posted recruitment notices with large numbers. The main recruitment positions are production workers, technicians, unskilled workers and some production line management positions. For example, Kohsei Multipack Vietnam Co., Ltd., CNCTech Co., Ltd. or KMV Packaging Garment Company are all recruiting hundreds of workers to serve new orders in the year. Employees after being recruited can go to work immediately with an average income of 10 million VND/month, not including allowances, attendance bonuses, and productivity bonuses.
Notably, many businesses committed to fully implementing welfare regimes for employees, including paying social insurance right during the probation month.
Ms. Banh Hai Ninh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Phu Tho province - said that after Tet, the demand for labor recruitment at many businesses is still high, mainly concentrated in the fields of industrial production, mechanics, and electronics.
Phu Tho Provincial Employment Service Center has promoted the organization of direct and online job transaction sessions, thereby, workers have the opportunity to access official recruitment information, choose jobs suitable for their qualifications and aspirations.
Can Tho businesses are strongly recruiting
According to the Can Tho City Employment Service Center (DVVL), the February 2026 labor market analysis report shows that labor supply and demand in the locality are in disparity, with demand exceeding supply. Meanwhile, February is also the time when businesses start deploying orders for the first quarter, causing recruitment demand to increase sharply. The combination of these two factors makes the labor market fall into a situation of localized labor shortage.
Therefore, many businesses in Can Tho are promoting recruitment to ensure production progress. At TKG Taekwang Can Tho Co., Ltd., a representative of the Recruitment and Training Department said that in 2026, the business is expected to recruit about 7,000 workers, mainly in the stages of pressing the base, spraying paint and gluing the base. "From March to July, the company needs to recruit an average of 900 - 1,000 unskilled workers each month" - the business representative said.
Not only Taekwang, JIA ZHI Co., Ltd. is also promoting recruitment to meet production needs. Mr. Nguyen Van Canh - Chairman of the company's grassroots Trade Union - said that the enterprise is currently maintaining a scale of about 6,500 workers. The company's recruitment demand at the 2 factories is currently more than 1,000 workers. However, recruitment work is still facing many obstacles. According to Mr. Canh, although the enterprise has promoted recruitment through social networks and distributed leaflets, the labor force is still not as abundant as expected.
Currently, the main source of labor is "job-hopping" personnel between neighboring businesses" - Mr. Canh informed. In this context, experts believe that the labor market will continue to fluctuate in the first months of the year. This both creates job choice opportunities for workers, but also poses a big problem for businesses in retaining and stabilizing human resources.
