At the end of 2024, the functional sector and relevant agencies of Hanoi City will organize a job fair for demobilized soldiers.

On December 28, the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the General Staff - Capital Command, directed the Hanoi Employment Service Center to coordinate with the Military Department - General Staff under the Capital Command to organize a specialized job fair for demobilized soldiers.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam, the job fair aims to provide demobilized soldiers and soldiers about to complete their military service serving in the army at agencies and units under the Capital Command with information on the labor market, career orientation, and direct job connections....

Since 2015, implementing the Coordination Regulation, the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Capital Command have coordinated to advise the city on many solutions and policies to support vocational training and create jobs for young people, including preferential policies for demobilized soldiers.

Recently, the number of active and demobilized soldiers participating in interviews at 11 job fairs was more than 3,800 people; of which more than 1,600 people were recruited right at the fairs.

Colonel Nguyen Hong Duong, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, Hanoi Capital Command, said that the specialized job fair for demobilized soldiers is very practical.

To improve the effectiveness and quality of the specialized job fair for demobilized soldiers, it is necessary to further strengthen the information exchange between the Hanoi Capital Command and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in disseminating and implementing the Party and State's policies on vocational training, consulting, job introduction and vocational training support for young people in general and demobilized soldiers in particular...

Attending the session, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh plans to apply for a job as a postman for a unit in Cau Giay District, Hanoi. Mr. Minh said that the salary and working conditions are quite good, so he applied, hoping to find a job right before Tet.

The specialized job fair for demobilized soldiers on December 28 had 32 participating units and businesses, mainly operating in the fields of trade - services, production, training, etc. with a total demand for recruitment, enrollment and labor export of 2,555 targets, diverse positions, and attractive salaries.
