Currently, the standards and conditions for considering promotion of the professional title of grade I secondary school teachers (code V.07.30.) are guided in Article 8 of Circular 13/2024/TT-BGDDT as follows:
High school teachers are eligible to register for consideration for promotion to the professional title of high school teachers grade I (code V.07.30.30, when meeting the following standards and conditions:
1. He has been appointed to the professional title of Grade II secondary school teacher (code V.07.07.31).
2. During the period of holding the professional title of grade II secondary school teacher and equivalent, having worked for 5 consecutive years before the year of consideration for promotion to a professional title is classified as having good quality at completing tasks or higher, of which at least 2 years are classified as having excellent quality at completing tasks; having good political qualities and professional ethics; not within the disciplinary period; not within the period of implementing regulations related to discipline according to the Party's regulations and the law.
3. Meet the standards on training and fostering qualifications of the professional title of Grade I secondary school teacher as prescribed in Clause 2, Clause 6, Article 3 of Circular No. 08/2023/TT-BGDDT.
4. Meet the standards on professional competence and skills of the professional title of grade I secondary school teacher as prescribed in Point a, Point b, Point c, Point d, Point d, Point e, Point g, Point i, Clause 4, Article 5, Circular No. 03/2021/TT-BGDDT and Clause 3, Article 3, Circular No. 08/2023/TT-BGDDT. In particular, the emulation titles and forms of commendation as prescribed in Point i, Clause 4, Article 5 of Circular No. 03/2021/TT-BGDDT must be emulation titles and forms of commendation achieved during the time holding the professional title of grade II secondary school teacher and equivalent.
5. Meet the requirements for the duration of holding the professional title of grade II secondary school teacher (including the duration of holding the equivalent rank) as prescribed in Clause 7, Article 3 of Circular No. 08/2023/TT-BGDDT.
