Ensuring policies, regimes and rights of workers
In recent years, the Party Committee and the Trade Union of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant have always coordinated to create a stable working environment, minimize labor conflicts and ensure that all regimes and benefits are implemented transparently and fairly.
The factory currently has 611 officers, employees and workers (CNVCLD), of which 97 are female. The lives and jobs of workers have been maintained stably, with average income each year higher than the previous year. The collective of employees believes in the leadership of the Party Committee, the management of the profession and continues to accompany and share with the Factory in the new development stage.
According to the report of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union at the 2nd Congress of the Trade Union of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant, term 2025-2030, in the past term, the Trade Union of the Factory has proactively and actively participated in developing and implementing policies and regimes for workers.
The unit has coordinated with the Factory Director to issue regulations on coordination between the Trade Union and the profession, regulations on management and use of social assistance funds and regulations on spending on welfare funds.
The trade union also participates in developing regulations on wages and bonuses, ensuring full social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes for employees.
Every year, 100% of affiliated units organize Workers' conferences according to instructions. The Factory Trade Union coordinated with the professional team to successfully organize the 2025 Workers' Conference, electing the People's Inspectorate and delegates to attend the EVN-level Conference. Labor relations between managers and employees are harmonious, stable, and have no disputes.
Occupational safety and hygiene work is identified as a key task. The factory union coordinates professionally to develop a labor protection plan, provide adequate equipment and protective equipment suitable for each industry; effectively implement occupational safety and hygiene, creating a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" working environment.
Periodic health check-ups are maintained regularly. During the Lunar New Year, the factory's Trade Union coordinated professionally to care for the material and spiritual lives of employees with a total amount of over 735 million VND for Tet gifts, 32.5 million VND to support people on duty for Tet, and 36 million VND to visit policy families and workers in difficult circumstances.
Social work has always been focused on by the collective leadership of the factory and the Trade Union with the spirit of "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", "When drinking water, remember the source". The trade union coordinated professionally to mobilize 100% of employees to contribute to the EVN social assistance fund for the years 2022-2024 with a total amount of 395.6 million VND;
Goals and directions for the 2025-2030 term
The Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Trade Union sets the goal of "All for the sustainable development of the Plant - for the lives of workers", striving to build a team of employees and a strong and comprehensive Trade Union organization, united to exceed the annual plan.
In the coming time, the Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Trade Union will continue to innovate, improve the effectiveness of gathering and mobilizing workers. At the same time, perfect the organizational model, build a team of professional union officials with qualities and abilities. Strengthen the Party's leadership over trade union organizations and activities.
