Stable orders for production after Tet
By February 5, nearly 500 enterprises in industrial parks in Hai Phong had stabilized production after Tet, with the rate of employees returning to work reaching 96%. Most enterprises organized activities to encourage and unite employees on the first working day of the new year, such as launching emulation campaigns, lucky draws in the spring, Tet tree planting, New Year parties, New Year's greetings with the lowest level of 50,000 VND, the highest level of 1,000,000 VND, an average of 200,000 VND/person.
According to reports from units, the production and business situation of enterprises after Tet is stable, in which nearly 90% of units have stable orders and increase after Tet. Typically, at Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Duong Industrial Park), after Tet, the company's orders increased, peaking in March, April, and May 2025. Therefore, although the company officially worked from February 7, some departments returned to work from February 3 to keep up with the progress of orders. According to the company's union representative, more than 70% of the company's employees are from other provinces, so in previous years, the rate of employees returning to work right after Tet was not high. Therefore, this year, the company has many bonus policies for employees when they return to work after Tet.
Enterprises outside the industrial park also received abundant orders after Tet. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Tien Lang District Labor Federation - said that after Tet, most enterprises had stable orders, even orders increased compared to the previous year, ensuring jobs for workers until the end of 2025.
Businesses are thirsty for labor.
According to information from the Employment Service Center (Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Phong City), in February 2025, 38 enterprises in the area had a need to recruit 3,552 workers, most of whom were unskilled workers, workers in the fields of production engineering, manufacturing, construction, textiles, transportation, etc. In industrial parks, more than 60 enterprises had a need to recruit about 4,500 workers.
On the first working day after the Lunar New Year, Maple Company Limited (VSIP Industrial Park) posted a recruitment notice for garment workers. The company offered attractive benefits to attract workers, such as: total income of 9-20 million VND/month, bonus of up to 3 million VND for garment workers who come to work for the first time; candidates who interview and start working before February 12 will receive lucky money from the company... Kyocera Company Limited (VSIP Industrial Park) also posted a recruitment notice for 300 workers in the positions of machine manufacturing, ink manufacturing, and plastic component inspection to start working in February.
In Tien Lang district, Hoa Thanh Company Limited is urgently recruiting 300 workers, XINWEI Company Limited is recruiting 300 workers... To support businesses, the district's Labor Federation posts recruitment information on the website congdoantienlang.vn as well as shares on social networks to connect labor supply and demand, helping businesses stabilize production soon, ensuring order progress after Tet.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Thuc - Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - said that currently, the Hai Phong City Labor Union at all levels is still surveying and collecting statistics on the employment situation of employees after the Lunar New Year. In general, enterprises have stable production, stable and increasing orders. Therefore, the city's Labor Union at all levels encourages employees to actively work in production, participate in emulation movements right from the first days of the year, improve quality and output for the development of enterprises.
