On July 3, information from the Social Insurance of Region XXVII said that according to the provisions of the Social Insurance Law 2024 (effective from July 1, 2025), there are many cases that are eligible to receive one-time social insurance.
Accordingly, the cases eligible for one-time social insurance are as follows:
Employees who have paid social insurance before July 1, 2025, but are old enough to receive a pension, but have not paid social insurance for 15 years; go abroad to settle; those who are suffering from one of the diseases of cancer, paralysis, Impetable liver disease, severe tuberculosis, AIDS; those with a reduction in working capacity of 81% or more; people with severe disabilities; after 12 months who are not eligible for compulsory social insurance but have not participated in voluntary social insurance and have paid social insurance for less than 20 years if they wish will receive one-time social insurance.
Employees who have paid social insurance from July 1, 2025 will receive one-time social insurance in the following cases: Are old enough to receive pension but have not paid social insurance for 15 years; go abroad to settle; people suffering from one of the diseases of cancer, paralysis, immaturity, severe tuberculosis, AIDS; people with a working capacity reduction of 81% or more; people with severe disabilities.
