Honoring workers with good achievements in labor
The Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented a plan to organize activities in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month (OSH) in 2025 in the province.
With the theme "Vietnamese Workers' Month 2025 as a pioneer entering a new era", trade unions at all levels focus on key activities such as: Organizing creative labor festivals; honoring and commending workers with achievements in labor; the program of gratitude to workers; the May Dialogue program and the Party forum with workers and laborers with the Party.
The Dong Nai Labor Federation proposed that the Trade Union levels proposed to the Party committees and the authorities to organize the activities of the workers' month and the month of action on OSH, creating a mark and spreading power throughout the trade union system and society. Focus on resolving, petitions, thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers. According to the plan, the month of workers and the month of OSH action will take place from April 20 to May 31.
Peak of union member development in Workers' Month
Currently, Dong Nai province has nearly 3,000 grassroots unions with nearly 700,000 union members, the gathering rate is over 95%.
In 2025, Dong Nai Trade Union was assigned to develop 60,000 union members. Therefore, since the beginning of 2025, Dong Nai trade unions at all levels have made many efforts to develop union members.
At the Long Khanh City Labor Federation, from the beginning of the year, it has surveyed and mobilized employers to create conditions for the establishment of grassroots unions. Among them, there are units and union officials who follow and persuade in many different ways. According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, in the first quarter of 2025, the whole province established 12 new grassroots unions and admitted over 3,500 union members. Of which, most grassroots trade unions are established in enterprises with 20 or more employees.
During the Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels will organize a peak period on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; introducing the development of party members among workers. Strive for 55% or more of enterprise-level trade unions and 35% of administrative- career trade unions to have at least 1 activity in response to Workers' Month. At the Conference of the Union activities in the first quarter of the first quarter of Dong Nai Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Dong Nai Trade Union levels focused on reviewing and firmly grasping the fluctuations of union members and workers to promptly urge the grassroots colleges in the development of union members.
At the same time, the grassroots trade union renews practical care models at the grassroots level so that workers can see the benefits when joining trade unions.
The Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province has also just implemented the plan for the Month of Action on occupational safety and health in the field of Industry and Trade in 2025 to enterprises and production and business establishments in the province. This Department will establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect the implementation of regulations on occupational safety and health at 15 enterprises in the province, taking place throughout May 2025.
