At the preliminary conference on Trade Union activities and the worker movement in the first 6 months of 2026 held on June 29, it was shown that under the decisive direction of the Provincial Labor Federation, Trade Union levels have implemented Workers' Month 2026 according to the motto of strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center of all activities.
Not only focusing on launching ceremonies, but also implementing many programs right at businesses, industrial parks, boarding houses and localities, helping workers directly participate and benefit.
Exciting atmosphere spreads from industrial parks and clusters through many cultural, sports and exchange activities.
The highlight is the 2026 Dong Thap Provincial Workers' Football Tournament with the participation of 30 teams, nearly 400 athletes from grassroots trade unions. The tournament not only creates a playground for health training but also strengthens the connection between workers and businesses and trade union organizations.

Many sports festivals, art competitions, folk games, and the program "Workers' Singing After Work" are also widely organized, bringing relaxing moments after stressful working shifts.
In parallel, there are health check-ups, ultrasounds, tests, free medicine distribution, organizing "Trade Union Meals", discounted welfare booths... These practical programs contribute to improving material and spiritual life and to making workers feel the concern from the Trade Union organization right at the workplace.
Accompanying with labor safety and dialogue
Not only caring for life, Dong Thap Trade Union also identified ensuring labor safety and hygiene as a key task.
The XXVI Occupational Safety and Hygiene - Fire and Explosion Prevention Contest attracted 89 teams with 623 contestants participating, recreating many realistic production situations through the competition sections of fire prevention and fighting, first aid and handling of labor accidents.

Notably, many topics on digital transformation in occupational safety, management of occupational safety and health networks and solutions to improve the efficiency of ensuring safety in the workplace have been widely deployed, showing the adaptation of the Trade Union organization to modern production requirements.
Along with that, the "May Dialogue" programs, the "Union Members Contributing Opinions to Building Vietnam Trade Unions in the New Era" Forum, the "Thank you to Workers" Program and many periodic meetings at businesses have created conditions for thousands of union members to express their thoughts, aspirations, and propose solutions to improve the working environment.

Strengthening dialogue right from the grassroots level helps many recommendations to be received and resolved promptly, contributing to building harmonious, stable and sustainable labor relations.
So that every month is Workers' Month
2026 also recorded many innovation models of Dong Thap Trade Union such as guidance on installing personal digital signatures, launching the "Digital Trade Union - Connecting Union Members" model, launching the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement and mobilizing social resources to care for union members in difficult circumstances.

These activities show that the scope of care of the Trade Union organization is increasingly expanding, not only protecting rights and improving lives but also supporting workers to adapt to digital transformation and new requirements of the labor market.
What creates the imprint of Dong Thap Trade Union is not the number of programs or the scale of activities, but the strong shift to the grassroots level, where workers are listened to, accompanied and cared for with specific actions. That way of doing things has helped Workers' Month no longer be limited to May, but has become a xuyên suốt spirit in the activities of Trade Union levels. In other words, in Dong Thap, workers always feel that every month of the year is Workers' Month.
