On June 19, at Tan Huong Industrial Park, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap organized a regular meeting of the "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" Club, launched the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" and signed a 2026 emulation agreement between 16 grassroots trade unions in the industrial park.
Attending the program were Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Truong Thi Thuy Linh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Policy and Law and Labor Relations Department of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap and members of the "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" Club.
According to the Organizing Committee, the "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" Club is maintained for regular activities outside of working hours to innovate trade union activities at the grassroots level, improve skills for trade union officials in grasping the thoughts and aspirations of union members, policy dialogue, digital transformation, building harmonious labor relations and developing union members.
The highlight of the program is the launch of the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income". The movement aims to arouse the spirit of creativity, self-reliance, self-strengthening and responsibility of workers; create motivation to improve productivity, improve income, welfare and working conditions, thereby harmonizing benefits between businesses and workers, contributing to promoting sustainable business development.
On this occasion, representatives of 16 grassroots trade unions in Tan Huong Industrial Park signed an emulation agreement for 2026. According to the content of the agreement, units strive to complete 100% of the targets assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation; admit 95% of workers into trade union organizations; at least 65% of workers are trained and fostered to improve their professional qualifications, professional skills and digital skills; 75% of workers are disseminated knowledge about digital technology and use smart devices to serve their work.
Grassroots trade unions also set a target of 100% of cases of union members and workers in need of support, advice and resolution; at least 10% of workers' initiatives are applied in practice; 30% of workers exceed labor norms; and at the same time deploy practical projects and tasks to care for union members and workers, creating achievements to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap - said that in the context of increasingly high requirements for renovating trade union activities, maintaining the practical and effective operation of the "Corumn Trade Union Cadre" Club is of great significance in improving the capacity of grassroots trade union cadres, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements in the new period.
He proposed that club members continue to promote the role of a connecting nucleus, strengthen care and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; and proactively propose that businesses pay more attention to the lives and working conditions of workers and laborers.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan emphasized: "Businesses need to see employees as their assets; employees must also see businesses as their homes." According to him, the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" will become a driving force for businesses and employees to develop together, build a safe and stable working environment, create long-term attachment and move towards sustainable development goals.
