The congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Canh - former Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (old). 175 outstanding delegates attended, representing more than 7,000 union members of the company.
The 4th Congress of the Trade Union of Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Company, term 2025-2030, is tasked with discussing and approving the report on the performance assessment of the 4th Executive Committee of the Trade Union, on that basis determining the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the term 2025-2030, contributing opinions to the draft report of the superior trade union, contributing opinions to amend the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor - assessed that in the recent term, despite many difficulties due to economic fluctuations and organizational restructuring, the Executive Committee of the Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Trade Union has promoted the spirit of solidarity, creativity, proactive coordination with the company's leaders, performed well its functions and tasks and was demonstrated by results in performing the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization.
The grassroots trade union has closely coordinated with employers in developing and implementing grassroots democracy regulations, organizing workers' conferences and periodic dialogues at the workplace in accordance with regulations; regularly monitoring the implementation of labor laws, especially the contents of labor contracts, wages, working hours, occupational safety and hygiene and social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes. The work of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers has been focused on by the grassroots trade union, many recommendations and proposals from workers have been received and promptly resolved by the company, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The material and spiritual life of workers has been significantly improved, with stable income, a safe working environment, and many cultural - sports activities, competitions, and vacations have been organized, thereby contributing to strengthening trust and strengthening the attachment between workers and businesses and trade unions.
In particular, the company's Trade Union maintains 4 trade union stores providing essential items for daily workers; The Trade Union is authorized by the company to manage the collective kitchen, regularly monitor the quality of meals, ensure adequate nutrition, safety, and hygiene.
Along with that, the Trade Union coordinated with the company to organize the "Union Meal" Program on the occasion of May (Workers' Month) and July (the month of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union), thereby helping to strengthen solidarity, build a friendly and warm working environment.
Patriotic emulation movements, especially the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" have been widely implemented, with many initiatives and technical improvements that have brought high efficiency.
The work of developing union members and building a strong union organization is focused on, gradually applying information technology in management and propaganda. These results demonstrate the core role of the Trade Union in accompanying businesses, caring for and protecting workers, actively contributing to the overall development of the company and Bac Ninh province.
The results were the efforts of the company's Trade Union Executive Board, the enthusiastic and responsible participation of all union members and employees of the company; especially the attention and facilitation of the company's leaders for the activities of the Trade Union, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

The Congress heard the announcement of the decision to appoint comrades to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Trade Union of Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Company, term V, 2025-2030.
