Workers stay in 4-star hotels when traveling
Recently, more than 1,300 employees (NLĐ) of Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA) were able to comfortably play and relax in Phu Quoc.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Nhu Ngoc - staff of the Quality Department of CASUMINA - shared: "This year, we workers are staying at a 4-star hotel, experiencing amenities that normally few people have the opportunity to have. These days of rest and fun help us relax, reduce pressure and regenerate labor.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoat - Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of CASUMINA - said that the company's leadership's point of view is to always fully care for the rights, material and spiritual benefits of employees because after all, employees are the ones who create wealth and material things for businesses and society. The organization of annual tourism and resorts for employees of the company is recorded in the collective labor agreement (TƯLĐTT) and the employee conference resolution of the company.
This year's plan is that nearly 1,800 workers will go on vacation, with a value of 6.4 million VND per slot. The total implementation cost is nearly 12 billion VND. Workers who cannot participate in the trip because they have to stay to work, ensuring order progress, will still receive an amount equivalent to the travel slot value.
Organizing sightseeing and vacation programs aims to create conditions for rest, relaxation, exchange, study and improve the spiritual life of employees. At the same time, helping employees return to work with excitement, improve productivity, quality, labor efficiency, and continue to be attached to and contribute to the sustainable development of the company," Mr. Khoat said.
Practical, suitable to reality, prioritizing direct production workers
Mr. Nguyen Cong Minh Khoa - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Safoco Food and Foodstuff Joint Stock Company (Safoco) - said that the company's collective labor agreement, annually, in addition to salary, the enterprise also pays bonuses for holidays and Tet an average of 4 million VND/person/year; paying salary for the 13th month from 2 to 5 months of salary/person depending on seniority and task performance results; employees getting married are given a wedding gift of 2 million VND by the company, if both husband and wife work for the company, they are given a wedding gift of 5 million VND; female employees taking maternity leave according to regulations are supported by the company with 3 million VND/person...
Welfare policies are implemented by the company in a practical direction, suitable to actual conditions, prioritizing employees directly involved in production, those in difficult circumstances, female workers and trade union members. Mr. Truong Hoang Tam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Printing Joint Stock Company No. 7 - said that the company's collective labor agreement through many stages has recorded rewards for employees studying to improve their qualifications or achieving results in promotion exams.
Most recently, the company's collective labor agreement for the period 2026 - 2028 signed recently recorded: If employees take promotion exams and meet the requirements, they will be rewarded 500,000 VND, if they are excellent, they will be rewarded 1 million VND.
In case employees study continuing education and graduate from high school, they are rewarded 3 million VND. And all cases with registration to study and graduate from university for the first time are rewarded 6 million VND by the company. For cases with registration to study and graduate from university for the second time or postgraduate, depending on each case, the company also considers rewarding 6 million VND.
Not only that, the company's Collective Labor Agreement also records that the company spends 48,000 VND/person/day on meal allowances for employees; allowances for female employees during maternity leave of 1.5 million VND/month; allowances of 300,000 VND/month/child for employees (including both men and women) raising young children from 7 months old to 5 years old.
