Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet - Chairman of Nha Trang City Labor Federation shared that Workers' Month 2025 takes place in the context of the whole country implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus.
Since the end of April, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation has issued 5 plans including: Organizing activities for Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health 2025; plan to thank union members and workers; plan to organize a conference to promote occupational safety and health in 2025; traditional sports festival for workers in Nha Trang City; organize a Union Meal.
At the same time, guide affiliated grassroots unions to coordinate with leaders of agencies and units to organize activities in accordance with reality.
According to statistics, trade unions at all levels have spent more than 1.5 billion VND to take care of union members and workers in difficult circumstances. There are 14 Trade Unions organizing Trade Union Meals with 2,015 meals, worth more than 100 million VND.
100% of affiliated trade unions will hang banners and propaganda slogans at agencies, units and enterprises; coordinate with heads of agencies, units and business owners to clean up the workplace, creating an airy, green, clean and beautiful working environment.
The City Labor Federation coordinated to visit, encourage, and give gifts to 1,922 union members in difficult circumstances, union members who have had work-related accidents and occupational diseases... with a total budget of more than 1 billion VND. Successfully organized the traditional sports festival for employees in Nha Trang City, with the participation of more than 800 union members and employees. Organized a occupational safety and health propaganda class for more than 300 people working on safety at the facility.
In particular, a program was organized to express gratitude to grassroots union officials and thank employees with nearly 350 outstanding delegates from more than 500 grassroots unions. Thereby, the City Labor Federation presented symbols of gratitude to those who have been with the trade union organization for many years, many outstanding union members who have been with the union, contributing to the development of the unit and enterprise.
Also during Workers' Month, more than 300 union members and employees of the voluntary tourism service union participated in blood donation, contributing to ensuring timely emergency blood supply in May.
With careful preparation, communication work before, during and after Workers' Month 2025 has been promoted on newspapers, radio and social networks, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in each Trade Union, each union member and employee.
In addition to the achieved results, Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet also acknowledged that the organization of union member welfare for union members and employees is somewhat limited in quantity.
To continue to deepen Workers' Month, Mr. Duyet also proposed sustainable solutions in the coming time. In particular, it is recommended that all levels need to study the establishment of an emergency financial support fund for workers facing difficulties such as work accidents and serious illnesses.

Establish a separate free legal consulting service support office for employees, with a team of lawyers to support.
