In the series of events of the 2025 Cultural and Tourism Festival, on the afternoon of 5.6, at Tran Phu Beach Area, Nha Trang City, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa Province organized the opening of the male and female beach volleyball tournament in Nha Trang - Sanvanest Salanganrade Cup, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa.
The tournament took place from June 5-9, with the participation of 32 men's and women's beach volleyball teams from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam. The teams are divided into 4 groups, competing in a round-robin format and selecting teams with good results to compete in the semi-finals and finals.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said - Beach volleyball is not only an attractive and dramatic sport but also a bridge for cultural exchange and the spirit of solidarity between countries and territories.
The Nam Beach Volleyball Tournament, Nha Trang International Women's Tournament - Sao Sanest bird's Nest Cup, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa is on a large scale, held for the first time in the beautiful coastal city of Nha Trang.
The tournament not only contributes to enriching the unique series of activities of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival, but also an opportunity to widely promote the image of beautiful nature, friendly people and the potential for socio-economic, cultural and tourism development of Khanh Hoa province to domestic and international friends.
This is also a practical sports activity, implementing major policies of the Central and local governments in building Khanh Hoa into a national and regional center for tourism, services and sea sports.
The Nha Trang International Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball Tournament - Sao Sanest and Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Cup will be aimed by Khanh Hoa to build into an annual international beach sports tournament, bearing the unique mark of Nha Trang coastal city.
