On the morning of January 5, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones organized the program "Workers' Festival - Charity Market".
This is one of many activities to take care of Lunar New Year for union members and workers working in enterprises in the Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City.
The program also creates opportunities for union members and workers to choose and buy items that suit the needs of each family, contributing to a full and warm Tet holiday for union members.
At the program, the Trade Union of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City awarded 2 plane tickets and 148 train tickets to union members with excellent achievements and workers' families to return home for Tet and presented 6,046 gifts (including 500,000 VND shopping vouchers, 400,000 VND cash and 100,000 VND blocks).
The total value of care for 6,196 union members and workers on January 5 was nearly 6.25 billion VND.
Ms. Vu The Van - Chairman of the Trade Union of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City - said that on January 12 and January 19, the Trade Union of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City continued to organize the program "Workers' Festival - Charity Market" at many other Export Processing and Industrial Zone clusters to take care of nearly 24,000 union members and workers with a total amount of nearly 24 billion VND.
