On September 21, nearly 300 union members from grassroots unions in the East of Hai Phong visited and offered incense at the Con Son - Kiep Bac Special National Monument (Tran Hung Dao Ward); participated in practicing skills in organizing collective activities for union officials, union members, and workers.
At the starting point of the Vietnam-Chang Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the delegation respectfully offered incense at the Monument of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh, expressing their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh to our Party, our country, our nation, the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union.
This is the 4th activity in the series of "Thank you to workers" programs organized by the City Labor Federation, with more than 2,000 workers participating. The program aims to widely disseminate to cadres, union members and workers in the city about the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class, the position, role, functions, tasks, and great contributions of the Vietnam Trade Union; historical relics, meaningful red addresses of Hai Phong city; solutions to implement activities among union members and workers according to the model of new trade unions at all levels; contributing to strengthening the trust of union members and workers in the Party, State and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The program is also an opportunity for union officials at all levels, union members, and workers to exchange, discuss, learn experiences in union activities and learn about some relics and history of the new Hai Phong city.
