On April 4, the Nha Trang City Labor Federation (LDLD) and Khanh Hoa City held a conference to deploy the Trade Union Law 2024 and the Social Insurance Law (SI) 2024. Nearly 500 union officials from grassroots unions under the Nha Trang City Labor Federation participated in the program.
According to Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet - Chairman of Nha Trang City Labor Federation, from July 1, 2025, the 2024 Trade Union Law and the 2024 Social Insurance Law will take effect with many new points directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
To promptly put the law into practice, Nha Trang City Labor Federation organizes the implementation of the contents of the above 2 Laws to all grassroots union chairmen. Thereby, each union cadre grasps these new points to propagate, disseminate and guide union members and workers to implement and apply.
At the program, Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Permanent Vice President, Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor informed about the basic contents of the Trade Union Law 2024 compared to the Trade Union Law 2012.

For the Social Insurance Law 2024, after 10 years of implementation, the rate of workers participating in compulsory and voluntary social insurance has increased. However, some provisions of the Social Insurance Law 2014 are no longer suitable and have been adjusted in 2024.
According to the Social Insurance Law 2024, effective from July 2025, there are 11 chapters and 141 articles, an increase of 2 chapters and 16 articles compared to the current Law.
