On July 3, the Hue City Labor Federation informed that the unit held a conference to review trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2025, deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year and summarize Workers' Month, 10 years of implementing Directive 52 on improving the spiritual life of workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, nearly 90,000 union members and workers were taken care of with a budget of more than 30 billion VND. During the Lunar New Year, over 85,000 people were supported with more than 25.5 billion VND. The online Union Tet Market program attracted more than 2,200 union members to shop with incentives.
The Hue City Labor Federation has supported the construction and repair of 35 "Union Shelters"; organized 6 training courses for nearly 850 cadres; admitted 465 new union members; introduced 453 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission.
Union member rights protection activities continue to be promoted: More than 3,400 people receive legal advice; organize dialogues between city leaders and workers, answer 15 recommendations related to employment, social insurance, labor safety, and black credit. The union also coordinated to monitor 21 enterprises that owe social insurance with an amount of more than 20 billion VND.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Hue City Labor Federation focused on perfecting the organization of the apparatus after the merger, promoting digital transformation, improving the quality of collective bargaining, caring for welfare and protecting the rights of workers.
