On July 18, the working delegation of the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) led by Vice Chairman Le Tu Nhien visited and worked with the grassroots trade union of Kwong Lung Meko Company Limited in Tra Noc 2 Industrial Park, O Mon Ward.

The Company's Trade Union currently has 1,527 union members, with an average income of VND 7 million/person/month. Activities such as organizing Workers' conferences, regular dialogues at the workplace, giving birthday gifts, visiting sick people, giving gifts for the Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival... are maintained regularly and thoughtfully. The trade union closely supervises the implementation of insurance regimes, ensuring the rights of workers. In addition, the company's employees have also established a Fund to support workers with serious illnesses, with a total donation value of over 100 million VND.
In 2024, the company's trade union spent more than 1.3 billion VND to take care of union members' lives; prepared more than 1,500 Tet gifts and coordinated 13th month bonuses. In addition, the company also participated in local charity activities and contributed 70 million VND to the Golden Heart Fund.

During the visit, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien visited and encouraged union members and workers at workshops and work lines. Regarding the difficulties of the grassroots trade union, the Vice President of the City Labor Federation requested that the professional departments recognize and promptly support.
