Implementing the direction of the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC), the trade unions of the units have proactively developed plans and organized the implementation of many practical activities to care for and support union members and workers.
Accordingly, visits, encouragement and timely support have been organized for union members who are suffering from serious illnesses, work-related accidents or are facing particularly difficult economic, health and family circumstances. The support is not only material but also through forms of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the concern and sharing of the trade union organization; implementing programs to care for life on holidays, Tet... by giving gifts, supporting cash, organizing meetings, exchanging performances, visiting policy families, ... helping union members feel warm and attached in the organization.
In the first 6 months of the year, the units have taken care of more than 21,000 employees, with an amount of over 6.5 billion VND from the Trade Union's financial resources.
Typical in caring is the trade unions of the following units: Hanoi University of Construction cares for 831 union members, with a total cost of 1.024 billion VND; Nha Trang University cares for 691 cadres, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLD), with a total cost of nearly 1.3 billion VND; Hanoi National University of Education cares for 1,208 CBNGNLD, with a total cost of 11.08 billion VND; Hanoi National University cares for 3,304 CBNGNLD, with a total cost of 2.5 billion VND; Dong Thap University cares for 560 CBNGNLD, with a total cost of 2.05 billion VND... In addition, the units also mobilized support from other sources with a total of more than 15 billion VND to take care of CBNGNLD.
Implementing the direction of the Trade Union, 104/139 Trade Unions under the Vietnam Trade Union have proactively advised and proposed to the professional level to organize activities in response to the Workers' Month in 2025. Thanks to that, 28 units organized visits and gave gifts to 663 employees in difficult circumstances and serious illnesses with an amount of nearly 1.4 billion VND; 22 units organized welfare programs organized by the union for 5,023 employees in Workers' Month 2025 with an amount of over 1.2 billion VND.
