On September 16, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan directed communes and wards to focus on reviewing, supplementing and completing documents to resolve the regime and policies for unskilled workers at the commune level.
After the merger, the whole province has 4,138 members of the Board of Directors at the commune level. Of which, 1,649 people have proposed to resolve the regime and policies; 62 people have been assigned to work in villages and residential groups; the remaining 2,427 people, of which 1,972 people have been assigned to support Party agencies, the Front and commune-level unions.
For localities that have not yet submitted documents proposing to resolve the regime and policies, including: Hoi Phu, Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Nam, Bien Ho, Dak Doa, Gao, Chu Pah, Ia Bang, Ia Chia, Ia Dom, Ia Doc, Ia Krai, Ia O, Ia Rsai, Kdang, Kon Chieng, Phu Thien, Uar, Ia Pia, Ia Pa, Ia Tul, Cat Tien, the Chairman of Gia Lai province requested an urgent review of cases with aspirations to retire immediately when implementing the 2-level local government model, and send documents to the Department of Home Affairs before September 18 for appraisal.
For localities that have submitted documents, the Chairman of Gia Lai province directed the Department of Home Affairs to continue reviewing and guiding to complete according to regulations, to be completed before September 30.
"Commans and wards must be responsible for identifying the correct subjects for staff streamlining under their authority, as well as the progress of reviewing, supplementing, and completing the dossier proposing to resolve the regime and policies for Board of Directors managed by the commune level," Mr. Tuan emphasized.
The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to appraise the dossier, promptly compile a list of eligible cases, and send it to the Department of Finance for appraisal of the budget estimate according to regulations.
