Implementing the policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation of the political system, on June 9 and 10, the Labor Federation of Nho Quan and Yen Khanh districts (Ninh Binh) announced the decisions to dissolve the grassroots trade unions, end the operation of the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of 213 grassroots trade unions of the administrative sector and public service units receiving 100% of the State budget. Of which, Nho Quan district dissolved 121 grassroots unions and Yen Khanh district had 92 grassroots unions.
At the same time, these two units also transferred 61 grassroots trade unions in the production and business sector to the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor for management (Nho Quan district is 33 grassroots trade unions and Yen Khanh district is 28 grassroots trade unions).
These units have also carried out the handover process and procedures when the activities of the district-level Labor Federation end in the first 6 months of 2025. After being transferred to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management, the unions will continue to operate continuously, effectively, and without interruption.
Mr. Thinh Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the arrangement and streamlining of the grassroots trade union apparatus aims to improve operational efficiency, focus resources on caring for the lives and protecting the rights of workers. At the same time, continue to affirm the position and role of the working class in the new era, as a pioneer in the cause of national renewal, creative labor, confidently entering a new era - the era of national growth.
"After the Nho Quan District Labor Federation and Yen Khanh District, the remaining units in Ninh Binh province will also implement the arrangement and streamlining of the grassroots trade union apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central Government and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor" - Mr. Tien said.
