On June 10, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor said that it had just implemented supervision of the implementation of legal regulations on collective bargaining, signing collective labor agreements and occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) at Baconco One Member Co., Ltd. (Phu My 1 Industrial Park, Phu My City). This is an activity within the monitoring plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor to be implemented in 2025.
Baconco Company Limited currently has 444 employees and 100% have signed labor contracts (of which, 354 are non-term contracts, 90 are fixed-term contracts). Regarding the implementation of legal regulations on negotiation, signing collective labor agreements are implemented according to regulations and announced to employees for understanding.
In general, the enterprise has paid attention to and invested in occupational safety and health, with 100% of employees participating in occupational accident and disease insurance; organizing comprehensive health check-ups for all employees...
However, the enterprise still has some shortcomings in the operation process, which have been reminded by the monitoring team, to better implement in the coming time. For example, requiring businesses to cover parts of machinery and equipment to ensure no danger; adding additional warning signs at construction sites and workplaces.
Requesting businesses to continue implementing food safety and hygiene; comply with regulations when organizing overtime; continue to review and provide adequate occupational safety and health training for subjects; review and classify workers in the list of occupations, toxic, dangerous, especially arduous jobs... according to regulations.
