At the recent commendation ceremony, the Quang Binh Provincial Labor Federation selected many typical individuals in the patriotic emulation movement and trade union activities.According to Chairwoman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Dinh Thi Ngoc Lan, honoring people like Mr. Binh and Ms. Minh is not only a recognition but also a way to "source good in good land".
"A small initiative of Mr. Binh helps dozens of workers save their efforts, while a market organized by Ms. Minh can create a full Tet for hundreds of mountainous households. That is the sustainable, long-term value that we want to spread among union members, Ms. Lan emphasized.
According to Ms. Lan, those outstanding faces have become a source of inspiration for life, a "light in the thousands" to light the way for the workers and civil servants movement in the province. There is no need to do anything too big, just as long as each person tries their part with all their heart, that is enough to create positive changes for the community.
Union member quality from simple things
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that improving the quality of union members is not a race for quantity or achievements, but lies in deeper values: sense of responsibility, creativity, compassion and spreading.
"We consider examples like Mr. Binh and Ms. Minh as vivid lessons, valuable materials for grassroots unions to learn and replicate. The quality of union members is improved not only by working skills, but also by personality and value spread in the community, said Ms. Lan.
That is the reason why the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has launched emulation movements associated with "learning the real people, the real things", taking out outstanding individuals as a fulcrum to build new standards for union members in the new era: Not only good at professional work, but also rich in citizen spirit and social responsibility.
