Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions
The Hanoi City Labor Federation has just announced the Decision to Establish the Hanoi Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks Trade Union and appointed an Executive Committee of 18 people and an Inspection Committee of 5 people. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The special thing is that right at the Ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks, the City Labor Federation organized the admission of 10,000 union members in places where there were already trade unions and established 3 new grassroots unions with nearly 200 union members. This shows the determination to focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and participating in building a clean and strong Party of the City Labor Federation. With the goal of not leaving any gaps or gaps in the organization of the Trade Union at the enterprise, in recent times, the City Labor Federation has directed and directly organized surveys, grasped enterprise data, focused on propaganda, mobilization to develop union members, and establish grassroots unions.
One of the important factors to attract workers to join the Trade Union and also clearly demonstrate the role of the Trade Union organization is the practical care for union members. Therefore, the Hanoi City Labor Federation not only organizes the admission of union members and establishes grassroots unions but also gives 50 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND to workers in difficult circumstances working at industrial parks and industrial parks in the city.
On this occasion, the Hanoi City Labor Federation suggested that the grassroots unions continue to pay attention to caring for, ensuring legitimate and legal rights and interests and improving welfare policies for union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, helping union members and workers feel secure in their work, stick together, and contribute to the development of enterprises, the capital and the country.

According to Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the Hanoi City Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks Trade Union was established in a new situation with a new mindset, so a new mindset is needed in implementing the task. The leaders of the City Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Hanoi Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks to promote the spirit of solidarity in leadership, direction and implementation of tasks; quickly develop and promulgate the operating regulations of the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and assign tasks according to the motto "clear people, clear work, clear efficiency"; develop an action plan close to functions and tasks.
As Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang emphasized the need to focus on performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. In particular, participate with the City's Management Board of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks to inspect the implementation of labor laws of enterprises to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. Direct grassroots trade unions to dialogue and negotiate with employers on wages, bonuses, allowances, and subsidies; supervise the implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement and effectively implement the Law on Grassroots Democracy, build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises, ensure worker security, order, and safety in industrial parks.
