Hanoi - The Hanoi People's Committee (HPC) aims to create new jobs for 169,000 workers by 2025.

According to the plan to support and develop the labor market and create jobs for workers in Hanoi in 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee has set a target and plan to create new jobs for 169,000 workers; reduce the urban unemployment rate to below 3% and the rate of trained workers to 75%.

To achieve the goal, Hanoi City has proposed 6 specific solutions: supporting social security, developing the labor market and workforce, promoting the implementation of social insurance policies; promoting economic growth; improving the quality of human resources; developing the labor market and job creation; enhancing labor export activities; improving the efficiency of borrowing capital to create jobs from the city budget entrusted through the branch of the Social Policy Bank.

In particular, developing the labor market is a key task associated with the socio-economic development strategy in the city. Taking enterprises, cooperatives, business households, and workers as the center of service.

Focus on effectively implementing solutions to solve employment problems for workers in order to maximize the potential, advantages and promote the strengths of labor resources in the cause of socio-economic development, ensuring the connection of the labor market in Hanoi with the labor market of the whole country.
