The delegates listened to Mr. Le Dinh Quang - Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Policy and Labor Relations (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) - train on some key contents of the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Social Insurance Law (amended) 2024.
These include outstanding amendments and supplements to the Law on Social Insurance 2024, including new regulations on participants, rights and obligations of employees and employers.
The training session also gave time for Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union officials to discuss and share difficulties in the process of implementing insurance policies at the grassroots level.Thereby, practical difficulties were discussed and answered, aiming to implement the Law on Social Insurance policy more effectively and transparently.
In addition, the delegates also heard about the development history of the law on Trade Unions, including the following contents: Decree No. 29, Trade Union Law 1957, Trade Union Law 1990, Trade Union Law 2012 and Trade Union Law 2024.
Through the training session, Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union officials grasped specifically the new regulations of the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Law on Social Insurance (amended) 2024, thereby supporting and providing timely and accurate advice to workers at units and enterprises in Hai Duong province.
