Pursuant to Article 4 of Circular 87/2011/TT-BQP, there are regulations on enrollment age as follows:
Age up to enrollment year
1. Training from the source: not more than 31 years old.
2. Inter-level training: Intermediate level of military major to undergraduate military major, from over 22 years old to 45 years old; undergraduate military major to undergraduate military major, from over 24 years old to 45 years old.
3. Students who temporarily drop out of school, as prescribed in Point d, Clause 1, Part IV, Article 1 of the Project, return to continue study, and the age as prescribed in Clause 1, Clause 2 of this Article.
Pursuant to Article 5 of Circular 87/2011/TT-BQP, the form of admission for both work and study is regulated as follows:
Admission for both work and study
1. The subjects of enrollment specified in Clause 2, Part II, Article 1 of the Project are the Commander and Deputy Commander of the Military Command at the commune level, who are qualified for inter-level training, due to the nature of their work, age, family circumstances and other reasons, and have the desire and are considered by the Military Admissions at all levels for admission in the form of training for both work and study.
2. Students who temporarily drop out of school, as prescribed in Point d, Clause 1, Part IV, Article 1 of the Project, return to continue study, and are not over 43 years old with interdisciplinary training from the undergraduate military level to the undergraduate military level.
According to regulations, the person holding the position of Commander of the Commune-level Military Command is eligible for inter-level training, due to the nature of his work, age, family circumstances and other reasons, wishes and is considered by the Military Admissions Committees at all levels for both work and study.
Thus, the Commander of the Commune-level Military Command can participate in training military officers in the form of inter-level training or in the form of both studying and working.
According to Article 2 of Circular 87/2011/TT-BQP, the Commander of the Commune-level Military Command must participate in the military officer training program if he has not passed college or university training in the basic military.
