On June 17, information from the Department of Home Affairs of Yen Bai province said that by the end of May 2025, the whole province had created jobs for 10,108 workers.
Of which, 4,536 people were borrowed from the socio-economic development program, 1,277 people were employed by the National Employment Fund, and 3,929 people were provided with provincial labor.
In particular, labor export continues to affirm itself as an effective direction, not only helping to increase income but also improving the quality of human resources.

In the first 5 months of the year, the whole Yen Bai province had 366 workers working abroad, mainly in high-income markets such as: Japan (191 people), Taiwan (101 people) and South Korea (56 people)...
On June 17, the Yen Bai Provincial Employment Service Center coordinated with the Working Group of Goryeong District, North Gyeongsang Province, Korea to interview more than 200 workers for seasonal work in 2025.
The Korean partners directly discussed with each worker about their experience in the agricultural sector; health status, asking about family conditions, wishes, and goals for going abroad to work to provide appropriate job advice...

Along with job creation, the labor restructuring process has achieved remarkable results. 3,906 workers have been shifted from agriculture to non-agricultural sectors such as industrial production, construction, tourism, and business.
According to the leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Yen Bai province, creating stable jobs and promoting a more dynamic labor structure is a solid foundation to implement economic development goals and improve the quality of life of people in the coming time.
