On July 11, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company - TKV held a conference to summarize the work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
According to the report at the conference, along with maintaining production and business activities, the company continues to implement many programs to care for the material and spiritual life of officials, workers, and laborers.
The Company and the Company's Trade Union have developed a joint resolution on organizing sightseeing and vacations in 2026, which supports all officials, workers, and laborers to have weekends off with a level of 1.5 million VND/person.
To date, more than 1,700 workers have participated in weekend vacation programs. The company also organized for 61 people to visit Con Dao, Ho Chi Minh City; 36 people went on vacation, combined with treatment support in Sa Pa.
During the Lunar New Year, 103 typical workers in difficult circumstances participated in the "Trade Union Tet Market" and "Miner Tet" programs.
The Company's Trade Union visited and presented gifts to 533 turns of workers in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases; praised and rewarded 74 turns of collectives and 1,121 turns of typical individuals, with a total amount of over 1.85 billion VND.
The unit also spent more than 238 million VND to support heat protection; spent more than 434 million VND to reward children of workers who passed university entrance exams, won scholarships, supported childcare costs and gave gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
In addition to welfare activities, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company maintains stable jobs and income for employees. The average salary in the first 6 months of the year reached 15.817 million VND/person/month.
Regarding production, the company received 6.85 million tons of coal, reaching 100.2% of the 6-month plan; produced 6.425 million tons of clean coal, reaching 104.84% of the plan; consumed 7.075 million tons of coal, reaching 104.21% of the plan.
Revenue in the first half of the year reached 13,724 billion VND, equal to 101.76% of the 6-month plan and 67.68% of the annual plan.
In the last 6 months of the year, Cua Ong Coal Selection Company set a target of receiving more than 5.18 million tons of coal, producing more than 5.07 million tons of clean coal, consuming more than 4.77 million tons; ensuring enough jobs, increasing income, and fully implementing regimes and policies for workers.
On this occasion, authorized by the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Bui Van Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee - awarded the 30-year Party Badge to 5 party members of the Party Committee of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company.
The Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union awarded the title "Creative Miner" to 18 individuals. Cua Ong Coal Selection Company commended 28 individuals who achieved the title "Miner - Soldier" and outstanding typical officials and employees in QII/2026.
