On April 17, Area Management Working Group No. 5 said that it had coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to organize training on negotiation skills and building salary clauses in collective labor agreements for trade union officials in 2026.
Taking place in 2 days, April 16 and 17, the program attracted more than 300 delegates who are trade union officials of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Legal Consulting Center; trade union leaders of communes, wards, special zones; and grassroots trade union presidents with over 1,000 workers participating.
In the program, the speaker conveyed practical contents that closely follow current practices such as: an overview of wages in labor relations; building wage negotiation goals in a direction that is more beneficial to workers; negotiation preparation skills; direct and practical negotiation skills; completing draft salary clauses in collective labor agreements...
According to the Organizing Committee, the training program ensures high practicality, with real-life situations arising at enterprises for trainees to exchange, discuss and find appropriate solutions. Thereby equipping, consolidating and improving negotiation skills for trade union officials; supporting trade union officials to master the process, prepare well and be ready to handle situations when negotiating with employers.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also requested the leaders of trade unions in communes, wards, and special zones to continue to synchronously implement the contents that have been absorbed in the training program to grassroots trade unions in the area; flexibly apply knowledge to reality at enterprises, focusing on salary negotiation to contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
