Nearly 70 trade union officials who are secretaries, deputy secretaries, and Party committees directly under the Party Committee of the Trade Union Affairs Department under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City participated in the professional training class on Party work held on the morning of March 27.
During one day, trade union officials were introduced by lecturers from the Faculty of Party Building, Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Cadres to specialized topics on the position, role, functions, and tasks of Party committees and secretaries of grassroots Party cells; professional affairs of Party committee office work; professional affairs of Party organization and building work; professional affairs of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Trade Union Affairs Department, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - emphasized that in the current period, the requirement to improve the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations is increasingly high.
Reality shows that wherever the Party committee and Party cell secretary firmly grasp professional skills and properly perform their responsibilities and tasks, the Party organization operates effectively, unitedly, and successfully completes political tasks, and the unit successfully completes professional tasks.
The organization of training classes aims to standardize and improve professional qualifications for grassroots Party committees, overcome limitations and shortcomings in the process of Party work at Party cells, and at the same time strengthen discipline and order in Party organization and activities.
