Immediately after receiving information about the damage to enterprises, industrial parks and the lives of more than 7,000 union members and workers affected by floods, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation quickly deployed a support plan.
Each union member and employee receives a support level of 1 to 2 million VND per session. At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor has allocated funds to support the construction of new houses of 60 million VND per house and repair 30 million VND per house for households that are severely affected.
The total support amount of nearly 10 billion VND was taken from the regular expenditure of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Khanh Hoa Trade Union Charity Fund and other support sources.
In particular, leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor were directly present at deeply flooded areas and workers' dormitories to survey, visit and encourage. The image of union officials visiting each row of houses, talking and visiting each difficult situation has become an important spiritual support for workers.
Although each gift is not large, it is practical, helping workers have more conditions to repair items, buy necessities and cover living expenses during the most difficult days after floods.
The timely actions of the Khanh Hoa Labor Federation not only help workers overcome immediate difficulties but also create confidence and motivation for workers to continue to work and produce, contributing to the development of the locality.
