The 6th Advanced Typical Conference (2020 - 2025) of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRG) was held on July 23. Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Huynh Thanh Xuan attended and gave a speech at the conference.
More than 17,800 individuals and 6,600 groups were honored and rewarded
In his opening speech, Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG - said that although the period of 2020 - 2025 has many difficulties and challenges, under the close leadership of the Party Committee, the consensus and efforts of all employees, the total revenue of the group reached more than 141,000 billion VND, pre-tax profit was 27,541 billion VND, and the State budget was paid 24,371 billion VND.
The work of caring for workers and social security is given special attention. The Trade Union and other socio-political organizations of the group have clearly promoted their role as companions, creating a progressive and humane working environment.
According to the report at the conference, in the period of 2020 - 2025, emulation movements have actively contributed to the implementation of the goals and tasks of production and business, development investment and social security of VRG and took good care of the material and spiritual life, ensured the salary and bonus regime for employees, and fully fulfilled their obligations to pay the State budget.
The movement "Skilled learning, good worker competition", "Emulation of good labor and production" is always a typical emulation movement, conducted regularly and continuously. Through the movement, every year more than 90% of workers are quite skilled and good.
The emulation movement to care for the lives of workers of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union has performed well the function of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises. At the same time, he affirmed that the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union is the only organization representing workers in VRG.
In 5 years (2020 - 2025), the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union maintained and organized the "Union Shelter" housing program well, built and repaired 445 "Union Shelter" houses with more than 21.5 billion VND, helping hundreds of workers' families with housing difficulties have spacious accommodation.
In 5 years (2020 - 2025), the whole VRG has more than 17,800 individuals and 6,600 groups honored and rewarded, hundreds of initiatives have been applied in practice, saving tens of billions of VND for businesses.
Continue to train qualifications and skills for workers
Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan praised the efforts of the VRG employees in recent years, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country, ensuring jobs and income for more than 80,000 employees of the VRG employees.
At the same time, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan suggested that the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union should encourage union members and workers to participate in emulation movements launched by VRG to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the National Emulation Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
Continue to work with the Group's leaders to effectively arrange and organize the apparatus in accordance with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers during the arrangement process.
There is a plan and program to foster qualifications and skills for union members and workers to meet the new situation, developing the economy to achieve double digits according to the State's policy.
On this occasion, VRG awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 18 individuals, the Ministry of Finance's Certificate of Merit to 2 individuals, and the Group's Certificate of Merit to 6 affiliated enterprises with outstanding achievements in emulation movements.
At the same time, the "For Propaganda" Medal and the "For Mass Mobilization" Medal of the Propaganda Department and the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization (now the Central Committee for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization) were awarded to 3 leaders of VRG.
