On May 7, the Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation organized a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and responded to the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2026 with many activities towards union members and workers.
According to Ms. Do Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation, activities in the month will focus on caring for the material and spiritual life of workers; promoting labor law propaganda, raising awareness about OSH at enterprises.
At the program, the Provincial Labor Federation launched the movement "Innovation and creativity, technical improvement, improving labor productivity"; launched the peak month of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, training, and admission.
The highlight of the launching ceremony is to commend 50 Trade Union members and workers who are typical Party members in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in the period 2024 - 2025, along with 90 outstanding union members and workers in the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Ngoc Te Shoe Co., Ltd., Workers' Month is an opportunity for businesses and trade union organizations to strengthen care, listen to workers' thoughts, and encourage workers to emulate creative labor, improve work productivity. "What workers need is not only income but also a safe working environment, being cared for and shared" - Ms. Hang said.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province highly appreciated the role of Trade Union levels in innovating activities and implementing many practical programs towards grassroots levels.
He proposed that Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to building the working class, improving the effectiveness of state management of OSH; the business community should pay more attention to the life and safe working environment for workers; trade union levels should continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote technical innovation initiatives, and meet development requirements in the context of digital transformation.
