According to the Tet care plan of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) recently issued, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor directs grassroots unions to develop a plan to care for union members and workers on the basis of the plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor for the Lunar New Year 2026.
The Provincial Federation of Labor guides activities to care for Tet, such as: Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026; visiting, giving gifts, wishing union members and workers a happy New Year; organizing buses to take and pick up workers to their hometowns to celebrate Tet; organizing the program "Tet Sum Vay"; organizing "Union Year's Meal"; organizing activities to celebrate Spring, welcome Tet, visiting and encouraging union members and workers who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet.
According to the plan, the Provincial Federation of Labor directs grassroots unions to proactively participate with employers in publicizing the salary and bonus payment plan for Tet at least 20 days before Tet holiday; supervise the implementation of salary and bonus payment, working conditions, working hours, rest time, overtime; ensure adequate benefits for union members and employees working overtime, working overtime, and working during Tet.
Along with that, grassroots unions need to coordinate and propose employers to organize activities to celebrate the New Year, give lucky money to welcome union members and workers back to work after Tet holiday to continue production at agencies, units and enterprises.
Grassroots trade unions need to proactively coordinate with commune and ward trade unions, other local unions and units to organize spring and Tet activities for union members and workers who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet to ensure joy, safety, economy, grasp the number of union members and workers who need to return home for Tet to organize or coordinate to organize the sending and welcoming of union members and workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and return to work units to ensure the right target, safety and thoughtfulness.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor also requires grassroots unions to promptly report to higher-level unions, Party committees, and local authorities if enterprises are facing difficulties in production and business, enterprises are at risk or are, have been dissolved, bankrupt, have business owners on the run, have not paid or cannot pay wages and bonuses to union members and workers before Tet.
On November 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Giang - Chairman of the Trade Union of JA Solar Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that this year, the Trade Union is expected to give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances of the company...
Meanwhile, Mr. Trinh Quang Hieu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Bac Giang LLG Garment Company (Bac Ninh province) - said that the grassroots trade union is developing a plan to care for union members and workers of the company during the Lunar New Year 2026.
It is expected that the grassroots trade union will organize activities such as: Giving gifts, organizing year-end meals for union members and workers... Mr. Hieu said that the grassroots trade union will closely follow the plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor to effectively implement the work of caring for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026.
