On behalf of the Politburo and Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed and issued Conclusion No. 162-KL/TW (June 6, 2025) of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the major contents of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and the Project to continue to reorganize and streamline the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operation.
The conclusion stated at the meeting on June 6, after listening to the Government Party Committee's Report on the major contents of the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) and the Project to continue to arrange and streamline the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operation (submission No. 19-TTr/dyU, dated June 4, 2025), the Politburo and the Secretariat concluded as follows:
The Politburo and the Secretariat basically agreed in principle on two major contents in the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended) according to the proposal of the Government Party Committee on adding a decentralized subject, the Provincial People's Council, and adding specific regulations for the organization of local government in some special zones on islands.
The Government Party Committee coordinates with the National Assembly Party Committee to lead and direct agencies to complete the draft Law and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and decision according to their authority.
During the implementation process, report to the Politburo and the Secretariat on contents beyond their authority.
Agree on the policy of the Project to continue to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the civil judgment enforcement system to ensure effective and efficient operation.
Assign the Government Party Committee to direct the reception of opinions from the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the appraisal of opinions from the Central Organizing Committee; urgently supplement and complete the Project to implement in sync with the general policy on restructuring the apparatus, arranging administrative units; ensure that enforcement agencies at all levels in accordance with the apparatus of the People's Court and People's Procuracy operate effectively and efficiently, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
