Mr. Pham Van Dang, Permanent Vice President of Kien Giang Provincial Labor Federation, said: The two units have closely coordinated for many years in joint training work, helping to standardize theory and professional skills for the team of specialized Union officials.
39 students will learn 9 topics with more than 400 lessons, including in-depth topics on theory, profession and trade union work skills that are extremely important and necessary, closely linked to the practical activities of Vietnamese trade union organizations.
The content is researched and designed by the school's teaching staff in accordance with the general curriculum framework prescribed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, helping students grasp the theory and apply it effectively to practical work.
Mr. Pham Van Dang also requested: “Unclear issues and shortcomings in the practical operations of our units need to be frankly discussed in class, thereby finding good practices and effective solutions to help resolve difficulties and obstacles. This will contribute to improving the quality of the Union's operations in the coming time.”
In addition to successfully implementing the goals and tasks set forth in the Trade Union Congress resolution, current reality requires a strong enough Trade Union staff to meet the requirements set forth in the new situation.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has identified one of the key tasks as: continuing to cooperate with training institutions in the Trade Union system to train and foster professional skills for the team of full-time Trade Union officials elected and supplemented after the Trade Union Congresses at all levels. In addition, it will continue to organize short-term specialized training courses in the direction of fostering and updating specialized knowledge according to each title and job position... to help Trade Union officials improve their capacity, solidarity, rallying workers, skills in organizing activities and skills in mobilizing, persuading, handling and resolving situations arising in practice.
Ton Duc Thang University also said that the school has coordinated with many Labor Federations of Southern provinces and Industry Trade Unions to train Trade Union officials, contributing to improving the capacity of Trade Union officials and the quality of Trade Union activities of provinces, cities and Industry Trade Unions in recent years.
