On the morning of June 7, the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Sa Dec General Hospital to organize a program of examination, consultation, and free medicine distribution for more than 200 union members and workers in Sa Dec Industrial Park and a number of enterprises in Sa Dec City.
Sharing before the examination, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, said that this is a meaningful activity to respond to Workers' Month 2025 and the Journey of Young Physicians Following Uncle Ho's words, volunteering for public health in 2025.
In addition to the meaning of demonstrating solidarity and caring for the lives of union members and workers, through the program, union members and workers also have more basic knowledge in health care and prevention of occupational diseases, thereby contributing to improving their health, serving production well and taking care of family life - Mr. Nhan emphasized.
At the concentrated examination point at the office of Hidico Company - Sa Dec Branch, more than 20 medical doctors, doctors and pharmacists of Sa Dec General Hospital conducted examination and advice on some common diseases, reproductive health counseling, occupational diseases, blood pressure measurement, ultrasound, maxillary teeth, eyes, ear, nose and throat, and free medicine for union members and workers in difficult workers in enterprises in enterprises. In addition, the doctors and doctors have graciously encouraged and instructed how to take care of health for each union member and workers.
The medicine parts are carefully packaged, given to patients and instructed on how to use the medicine properly, helping to somewhat relieve the pain of patients. Along with medical examination and treatment and medicine distribution, union members and workers are also consulted on nutrition and self-care for some common diseases, understanding the importance of regular health check-ups.
Ms. Bui Thi My Duyen, a worker in the color and size division of Cuu Long Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, happily shared that due to the nature of the frozen seafood processing industry, we have little time to go for regular health check-ups. Therefore, today, I and many other workers of the company are lucky to participate in the health check-up and provide free medicine, helping us detect diseases early and have basic knowledge for prevention and appropriate treatment.
This is considered a piece that creates a picture of the coordination to comprehensively care for union members and employees of the Trade Union organization and business leaders. Because before that, the leaders and the grassroots Trade Union at the company regularly paid attention to many aspects such as: paying social insurance, health insurance and adequate accident insurance; inter-caste, maternity, income, bonuses, ... diet are very timely.
It is known that the total cost of the medical examination and treatment and medicine distribution period is nearly 50,000,000 VND, sponsored by the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Sa Dec General Hospital.
