On March 4, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD), Khanh Hoa Trade Union Charity Fund in coordination with Khanh Son District Federation of Labor organized the acceptance and handover of 6 Trade Union Shelters (MACD) to union members in the area.
Previously, from the proposal to support the cost of building houses of union members: Nguyen Thi Bach Ut (teacher of the Trade Union of Sao Mai Kindergarten), Tro Ngoc Minh (staff of the Trade Union of Son Hiep Commune), Bo Bo Thi Ha (staff of the Trade Union of the Office of the People's Council & People's Committee of Khanh Son District), Mau Thi Thu Chuyen (Tho Hop Town People's Committee Trade Union), Cao Thi Bich Phi (staff of the Trade Union of Son Trung Primary School), Mau Minh Trieu (staff of the District Labor Union and the Trade Union proposed that the higher-level Trade Union support union members to build a MCCD house.

After considering the eligibility, Khanh Hoa Trade Union Charity Fund decided to support union member Mau Minh Trieu with 60 million VND to build a new house and 5 union members to repair the house, each case with 25 million VND. After nearly 2 months of construction, all 6 houses have been completed, spacious, clean and safe.
Receiving the handover of the MACD house and the remaining funding from the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Mau Minh Trieu could not help but feel moved to share the joy.
Mr. Trieu is an employee of Son Binh Commune Radio Station, with an income of 3.5 million VND/month. His wife, Ms. Bo Thi Thu Uyen, works as a farmer, has an unstable income, and raises a young child who is often sick. For a long time, the couple has lived with their wife's family, even though they have land, they do not dare to think about a separate house.
Knowing about the MACD house construction support program, Mr. Trieu boldly proposed and prepared a dossier to request financial support.
On the day I received the notice of receiving a support of 60 million VND, I was determined to borrow more to build a level 4 house, with an area of 50m2, corrugated iron roof, brick walls, flower floor, and wooden doors. The total estimated cost is more than 110 million VND.
Now the house is completed, the family life has turned a new page. Although they still owe a little, both husband and wife are always excited to work harder, with the goal of escaping hardship - Mr. Trieu confided.

Sharing the joy of a homecoming day for 6 union members who will benefit from the 2025 MICD program, Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Permanent Vice President of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the mountainous district of Khanh Son is one of two districts of Khanh Hoa that has just announced poverty reduction.
Recently, a survey has been conducted on many union members who are still in difficulty, have degraded houses, temporary reinforcements, leaky roofs, etc., and the union members themselves have low incomes. The initial support fund from the union is very meaningful to join hands with the economic benefits of union members' families to contribute to building stable housing and escaping poverty.
With the goal of creating motivation for all union members with housing difficulties to qualify for a part of the union's support for house building and stabilizing their lives, in 2025, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to spread the program to all levels of the union and union members. In particular, the target is set to strive to support 50 union members with housing difficulties to benefit from the program.
