On August 28, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and the Industrial Park Trade Union Board organized an announcement of the decision to establish a grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Hong Phat Production Service Company Limited (located in Suoi Dau Industrial Park, Cam Lam Commune). This is the first grassroots trade union of the Industrial Park established after Khanh Hoa implemented streamlining and merger.
Hong Phat Production Service Company Limited has been operating in Suoi Dau Industrial Park since April 2025 with 50 employees, specializing in seafood.
After a month of mobilization, 26 workers submitted applications to the Trade Union. Business leaders also strongly support the establishment of grassroots trade unions, contributing to the sustainable development of businesses.
At the ceremony, the Industrial Park Trade Union presented the decision of the Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, recognized the Trade Union of Hong Phat Production Service Company Limited and admitted 26 workers as union members.
At the same time, the decision to recognize and appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee and the positions of grassroots trade unions was announced.
Ms. Kieu Thi Xuan Thuy - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hong Phat Production Service Company Limited shared that with the assigned responsibility, the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union will focus on implementing well the work of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, worthy of being a reliable support for workers.
Focus on building harmonious and stable labor relations; effectively implement emulation movements to successfully complete production and business tasks.
Ms. Nguyen Hong Diep - Director of Hong Phat Production Service Company Limited, said - in the coming time, the Board of Directors will support and create favorable conditions for the Executive Committee of the Trade Union to operate, promoting its role as an organization representing workers. The grassroots trade union will be a bridge between employees and the company's leaders, contributing to mutual development.
Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union, affirmed that the establishment of a grassroots trade union is a solid foundation for union members and workers to feel secure in their contributions.
In the coming time, the Trade Union needs to focus on caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights of workers; promoting propaganda on labor law policies and improving labor skills to meet integration requirements.
