On August 16, the Mobilization Committee to establish the Trade Union of HAPPYFOOD VIETNAM Company Limited, together with the collective of workers and laborers, held a Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union, admitting nearly 100 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Attending the Congress were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Head of the Dong Thap Industrial Parks Trade Union; Ms. Tang Thi Mai Thao - Director of the Company and nearly 100 workers.
HAPPYFOOD VIETNAM Company Limited officially operates at (Lot CVI-2, Area C, Sa Dec Industrial Park, Sa Dec Ward, Dong Thap Province) specializing in processing frozen seafood and seafood, attracting over 250 workers to work regularly.
With the guidance and support of the Dong Thap Industrial Park Trade Union Department, along with the support of the Company's Board of Directors, the collective of workers at HAPPYFOOD VIETNAM Company Limited established a Committee to propagate and develop union members with 05 members and appointed Mr. Tran Phuoc Hai - Head of the Logistics Department as Head of the Committee to propagate.
The mobilization committee has promoted and mobilized nearly 100 workers in the company to voluntarily write applications to the Vietnam Trade Union. At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 07 members was elected, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hai was elected as Chairman of the Company's grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui expressed her joy and acknowledged the efforts and responsibility of the Mobilization Committee for the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union, thanked the Company's Board of Directors for their facilitation and the active response of all workers.
On this occasion, Ms. Tuyet Vui suggested that the company's Board of Directors always pay attention to creating favorable conditions for the grassroots Trade Union to operate smoothly and achieve high efficiency.
The Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized a number of key contents and assigned tasks to the grassroots Trade Union: paying attention to performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. At the same time, it is necessary to mobilize union members and workers to actively respond to patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization and units, such as: emulation movement "Good workers; creative workers; green, clean, beautiful movement to ensure occupational safety and hygiene", ... Especially to encourage union members and workers to compete to complete the plan set by the enterprise.
On behalf of all union members and workers, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hai - Chairman of the grassroots union - accepted the instructions of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation and the company's Board of Directors. At the same time, commit to building the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee as a center of solidarity, making efforts to promote the role and functions of grassroots Trade Unions in the coming time to continue to mobilize voluntary workers to join the Trade Union organization, so that the Trade Union at the unit is increasingly large in quantity and strong in quality to meet the requirements in the new situation. This will be a premise to contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, building enterprises to develop more and more sustainably.
