Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung and the working delegation of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union recently visited Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces to award 3 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in completing the excavation and foundation foundation progress milestones of package No. 1 of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project; at the same time, visiting, giving gifts and encouraging workers directly at a number of other construction sites.
Previously, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union issued Decision No. 296/QD-CDDVN dated June 11, 2025 on rewarding 3 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in completing the progress milestone of digging and casting foundations for package No. 1 of the Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line project. This is the first package to complete the foundation work for all 51/51 locations.
Recently, the weather in the Northwest has been erratic, construction units at the construction site have taken advantage of every favorable time to continuously construct to meet the power outage schedule on August 19, 2025.
At the places visited, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Do Duc Hung listened to reports on the implementation of construction and gave special prizes to 3 groups and 5 individuals with a total prize money of 40 million VND.
During this working session, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union also presented gifts of encouragement to workers of some units under construction with a total visit amount of 110 million VND.
"The gifts and encouragement from the Trade Union will partly motivate workers to overcome difficulties in weather and urgent progress to strive to complete the project on schedule" - Mr. Do Duc Hung said.
