On January 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Social Work Center coordinated with District 12 Union, District 12 Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center, Global Insurance Corporation (GIC) and AP Saigon Petro Joint Stock Company to organize the festival "Reunion Tet - 1,500 safe trips".
At the festival, 1,500 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances had their motorbikes checked and their motorbike oil changed for free by technicians to help them have a safe trip home to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025.
At the same time, 300 workers and laborers in especially difficult circumstances received gifts from sponsors. The total support fund for workers and laborers on the "Reunion Tet - 1,500 safe trips" festival is 316.5 million VND.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Cuong - Director of Business Development & Marketing of GIC - shared: “This festival is the passion of the entire GIC team, with the desire to accompany workers and laborers every time Tet comes and spring comes. We hope to maintain this festival every year, because this is a practical activity, helping many brothers and sisters who use motorbikes to travel long distances to safely return home to celebrate Tet”.
