On November 18, in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party in 2025" with the participation of Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Labor Federation of Nghe An province and Vinh city attended the event.
Speaking at the program, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien praised the outstanding achievements of the province, workers and laborers of Nghe An in 2024, notably budget collection, investment attraction and care for social security work.
Mr. Do Van Chien sent New Year wishes to all workers and laborers, affirming that our Party and State always care about workers in difficult circumstances, poor households, policy families, and near-poor households.
The meaningful activities of the Party and State leaders and organizations, unions and localities on the occasion of Tet aim to share with those in difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone, every family has Tet, and no one is left behind.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front hopes that the poor, workers, laborers, and those in difficult circumstances need to strive to rise up, overcome difficulties, and stabilize their lives. For workers and laborers, regardless of their circumstances, they need to give top priority to their children's education to move towards a bright future.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 200 gifts to 200 union members and workers in Nghe An province with difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag of 300,000 VND.
At the program, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor honored and rewarded 95 union members, officials, civil servants, and workers who are Party members with outstanding achievements in 2024 and signed an emulation agreement in 2025.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, trade unions at all levels in Nghe An province, agencies and enterprises have organized many meaningful activities to take care of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers.
Typical is the Trade Union Tet Market Program with 3,500 online shopping vouchers worth 1 billion 750 million VND given to union members and workers for shopping during Tet; more than 25 thousand gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with achievements in labor production; thousands of union members and workers were taken home to celebrate Tet on "Trade Union Flights" and "Trade Union Train - Spring 2025".
